Dr. K. M. Modi FOUNDER PRINCIPAL OF THE COLLEGE After taking the degree of M.B.B.S. from India, Dr. K. M. Modi second son of great naturopath Vithaldas Modi, founder of Arogya Mandir, Gorakhpur, went to London and joined the London College of Osteopathy. After obtaining M.L.C.O.M., he became an M.R.O. in 1968, thus becoming the first registered osteopath of India. After practicing as an osteopath for some time in Gorakhpur, he came to Mumbai (then Bombay) in 1975 and practiced for 23 years. He opened his own Dr. Modi's Health Resort in 1998 at Karjat. His successful treatment in relieving pain by osteopathy earned him the title of ‘Doctor with magic fingers.' Asian College of Osteopathic Medicine will invite experts from foreign countries to teach and train its Members besides appointing specialists in different fields from within the country.
