DURATION OF THE COURSE The duration of the MACOM course shall be twelve months, divided into four semesters of 3 months each. a. Morning sessions will be from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm b. Afternoon sessions will be from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION English shall be the medium of instruction and examination in all the subjects of the study. ATTENDANCE A candidate is required to attend at least 80 percent of the total periods conducted in a year in all subjects prescribed for that year in theory and practical / clinical classes separately. Principal will notify the attendance details at the end of each term. CRITERIA FOR PASS A candidate will be declared to have passed the examination in a subject, if she / he secure 50% of the marks in theory aggregate and 50% marks in practical aggregate, separately.
a. A successful candidate obtaining 75% and more marks in the Grand Total Aggregate in the first attempt shall be declared to have passed these subjects with distinction; b. A candidate obtaining more than 60% but less than 75% of the marks in first Class; c. A candidate obtaining 50% and more but less than 60% is second class; A candidate who passes in more than one attempt will be placed in pass class irrespective of the percentage of marks secured.
